What happened to Project Sequoia?

I am sorry to announce that Project Sequoia officially is over. The five remaining sequoia trees that I had raised from seed did not survive the winter. Four of them had survived until early April, but the last snow storm that we had was too much and shocked them at a critical point in their ‘spring wakeup’. I have every intention of starting up Project Sequoia again once I get more seed or seedlings. I may actually start from seedlings this time since they will have a better success rate. Keep checking back for announcements of the re-start of this project, and thanks to all of those that were interested in the ‘little trees’.
